I recently have taken up the paragon profession in guild wars and don’t know what to do with my attributes. I already have the spear mastery but I need one more attribute and I am confused. If you know a good attribute please tell me! I would also want to know what each one does and how it helps me or my team.
Command – Mostly offensive shout-oriented, designed to “lead the troops” so to say, and are often used for the purposes of increasing your allies’ speeds, attacks, and a little bit of defense.
Motivation – Mostly defensive shout and protective-oriented, designed to “motivate” your allies in the sense of picking them up when they’re down. A lot of these skills act as trigger-based effects, i.e. “when any party member within earshot takes damage, they gain 30…75 health” etc. Paragons mainly use this skill when they’re not called upon for strong offensive attacks, but are still needed for that little bit of extra damage while playing a large role in secondary support for the monks
Spear Mastery – Obvious. More points here = stronger attacks. It’s that simple
Leadership – Primary Paragon attribute. This is the staple of a majority of Paragons’ energy management abilities. With points in this attribute, you’ll find yourself with plentiful amounts of energy to constantly be able to spam your shouts, chants, and attacks (please note that Leadership only gives you energy on shouts and chants, not attacks) as well as provide a very BASIC level of secondary support.
